A charity based in the district has received a grant under a scheme designed to help families.
Accuro Care Services in Hastingwood, which provides respite care, holiday and Saturday clubs and a youth group for people with disabilities, has been given the grant by Essex County Council’s Family Innovation Fund.
The fund is designed to help organisations that work with families to provide additional projects supporting them.
The charity was one of more than 30 across the county to benefit from the fund.
