The Leytonstone Citizens' Advice Bureau (CAB) is closing down tomorrow due to cuts in legal aid funding.
Waltham Forest CAB says it can no longer afford to keep the office open following a government decision to end financial support for most types of welfare benefits and debt work.
It is estimated that the cut will cost Waltham Forest CAB £200,000 per year.
A statement from the group said: "Savings we make by closing the centre will allow us to keep most of our advisers who will move over to the office in Walthamstow."
From Monday all Waltham Forest CAB services will be available from the Walthamstow office at 6 Church Hill, Walthamstow.
