Young people experiencing back pain can get advice and find out if their pain is a symptom of a chronic condition at a hospital roadshow.
The Back on Track road show, organised by Whipps Cross Hospital, will visit Fitness First in High Road, Ilford on March 23 and 24.
The show is supported by the National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society (NASS) and aims to help young people recognise the early signs of inflammatory back pain which can cause irreversible damage if left untreated.
Representatives from the hospital and NASS will be at the Ilford gym from 2pm on both days.
Visitors will be able to pick up leaflets on inflammatory back pain and AS.
They will also have the opportunity to discuss their symptoms and any concerns they may have with representatives from the Whipps Cross Early Inflammatory Back Pain Service.
