A man died after suffering a cardiac arrest in a car in Redbridge Lane East, Redbridge, earlier this afternoon.

A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said an Air Ambulance and three ambulance crews had attended the scene of the crash shortly after 4pm today.

She said: “Our staff treated a man reported to be in his 60s who was in cardiac arrest.

“Extensive efforts were made to resuscitate him but he was pronounced dead at the scene.”
