A fire has ripped through a farm building, completely destroying it along with three vehicles.

Crews from Waltham Abbey, Loughton and Hertfordshire were called to the blaze in Southend Farm, Southend Road, Waltham Abbey at around 12.30pm yesterday.

The crews tackled the fire for just over an hour and it was extinguished by 1.35pm.

A farm building and three vehicles were completely destroyed during the fire, but no-one was injured.

A spokesman for Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said: "A full investigation will be carried out to establish the cause of the fire."

It is not known what vehicles were destroyed in the fire.
