A charity set up by a mother who lost her son to leukaemia is celebrating after granting its 200th wish.
The Dream Factory founded by Avril Mills, from Epping, has been making dreams come true for children and young adults with life-limiting conditions for the last five years.
Holidays, gadgets and meeting pop stars are just some of the wishes granted by the Hainault charity for young people across the district.
This time, seven-year-old Ayse, who was born with Spinal Muscular Core Myopathy, was given an iPad.
Founder Avril Mills has thanked everybody involved with the charity as this latest landmark is reached.
She said: “I am very lucky to have on board a fabulous team of volunteers who go out and grant these dreams and other volunteers who help me fund-raise to enable the dreams to be fulfilled.
“The Dream Factory would also like to thank all of our supporters everywhere and look forward to the next 200 dreams.”
