Buckhurst Hill’s information centre has been put on the market by the parish council.
The centre in Queen’s Road has also served as the offices of the parish council since 2001, but the council is planning a move into the nearby library.
The library itself will be closed for a month from May 5 to re-fit it for the council, and to install self-service machines.
The council has not announced how much it expects to make from the sale.
