A district council chairman is holding one last event for his chosen charities before he steps down from his post.
Brian Rolfe, Chairman of Epping Forest District Council, is inviting residents to join him on a walk through the bluebells in Abridge, on April 28, as his year in the post comes to a close.
The walk will start at Abridge Village Hall at 10.30am and will be around three miles long. It is suitable for all abilities and dogs are welcome, too.
Bacon sandwiches and coffee will be served following the walk and the suggested donation for the event is £10.
All of the money raised will go to the Dream Factory and the Chigwell Riding Trust.
Anyone who would like to attend should contact Pat Seager, on 01992 564427, or by email, at pseager@eppingforestdc.gov.uk for catering purposes.
