The trial of a man accused of murdering an ex-gangster at a poultry farm is due to start on Monday.
William Martindale, known as Billyboy, was found with head injuries at a farm in Mill Lane, High Ongar, in September last year.

Paul Groves, 33, of Queensway in Ongar, is due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday, charged with one count of murder and one count of causing greivous bodily harm with intent.
