Firefighters spent two hours extinguishing a blazing pile of rubbish and manure yesterday.
The pile, which covered an area of 30 metres by 20 metres in Lindsey Street, Epping, was finally under control by 9.20pm.
Three fire crews attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
