As of next week children can earn themselves book vouchers by hunting for photographs taken by their snap happy neighbours.
From Monday, July 8, 40 shops along Queens Road, Buckhurst Hill, will display entries to a recent photography competition.
Shopkeepers will hand out stamps to children who identify the photographs based on the history of Buckhurst Hill, the forest, people at work and beauty.
The fortnight-long exhibit will be made up of photos submitted to the residents’ association.
Stamp books will be given out at schools in the town and parents are encouraged to take their children along the road to join in. The full books can then be traded for vouchers at Loughton Book Shop.
