Camper van fire at North Weald Airfield
Fire-fighters were called to North Weald Airfield yesterday after a VW camper van caught fire in its grounds.
A crew from Epping were called to the scene, in Merlin Way, just after 10am.
A spokesman for the Essex Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to tackle a fire involving a VW camper van."
The blaze was extinguished just after 10.30am.
There are no reports of any injuries.
