Children showed off their artistic creations on Saturday when they exhibited animal sculptures made from junk.
The Carnival of the Animals, at The Mill, in Coppermill Lane, Walthamstow, saw children exhibit the animals created in workshops with artist Michelle Reader.
From foxes to dogs to birds, the room was brought to life by the display of talent.
Children also enjoyed animal face painting, Michelle Reader was on hand to help create smaller animal models during the day and children and adults performed animal-based poems they had written.
The poems will become available in an anthology in autumn.
The Mill is a community building that provides space for groups, events and activities.
