Theydon Bois church to hold flower festival
A church in Theydon Bois will be holding a flower festival over the Bank Holiday weekend.
St. Mary’s Church, between Coppice Row and Piercing Hill, will display 19 flower arrangements from Saturday 24 to Monday 26 August.
The event from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Saturday and Monday will start two hours later on Sunday 25 due to a church service in the morning.
A choir will be providing musical entertainment from 2pm on Sunday.
The Monday will be a children’s fun day with a bouncy castle in the church hall and games.
There will also be refreshments and stalls with plants, cakes, bric a brac and books for sale.
