The country's top police officer visited has praised a mosque's positive impact on the community.
Metropolitan police Commissioner, Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe, visited Noor Ul Islam mosque in High Road, Leyton, yesterday.
Sir Bernard said: “It’s a well organised mosque with people who are, in good faith, trying to improve their community.
“They are working hard and giving to charity.”
