Walthamstow Assembly hall was nearly full to capacity as around 800 people flocked to see the council’s annual Eid Celebration on Friday August 30.
An array of dance and musical performances, speeches and food made up the three hours of entertainment on offer to the packed hall.
Events officer, Glen Watson said: “It was probably one of our most successful events.
“There was a great buzz about the whole event and people gave some great feedback about how much they had enjoyed it.”
