Chigwell Business Group is offering new businesses the chance to apply for £1000 to help them get started
A cash injection is being offered to businesses in an attempt to boost the local economy.
Chigwell Business Group is offering free three-month membership and grants for expansion.
Chairman Carl Belle, of Belvoir! Lettings, said the group is hoping to raise its profile.
He said: “With the reduction of many local organisations which previously supported start-ups, it’s up to established Essex businesses to help advance the local economy.
“This is a small gesture, but it means that someone could spend an entire month focusing on networking, or it could be the marketing budget that, spent wisely, really makes a difference to a small business, just starting out.”
Any business or entrepreneurs can attend free taster sessions at 7.30am on Friday mornings at Woolston Manor.
