Guitar hero Deke Leonard, of progressive rock band Man, is the guest of Walthamstow's 17Blues Club on Friday September 13.
He'll be there as part of his 'in conversation' tour, and will speak about his career interspersed with songs.
Support comes from The Green Ray.
Tickets cost £10 on the doors, which open at 7.45pm.
The music will begin at 8.15pm.
It takes place at Walthamstow Cricket Club in Greenway Avenue.
Graham Larkbey and Dave Illingworth play a joint show at Walthamstow Folk Club on Sunday September 15.
Dave's roots are in country, folk, blues and jazz, while Mr Larkbey is known for his pub-rock band The Escape Committee.
Admission is £7, or £5 for concessions.
It's at Ye Olde Rose and Crown in Hoe Street and doors open at 7.30pm.
Singer-songwriter Benjamin Folke Thomas launches his debut solo album 'Too Close to Here' at The Crown pub in Leytonstone on Saturday September 14.
He's known for his “explosive” folky Americana.

It's from 8pm at the pub in Leytonstone High Road.
Entry is free but donations welcome.
Four alternative punk bands are set to perform at Leytonstone's Plough and Harrow pub on Friday September 13.
They are Jesus Hooligan, Council, Son of Buff and 3 Chords & A Lie.
Entry is free and it starts at 8pm.
The same pub, in Leytonstone High Road, has a night of “weird and experimental” music on Saturday September 14.
Presented by promoters Noisemonger, acts include Horace, Greg(o)rian and Buttonhead.
It's also free entry and is from 7pm until late.
English folk band Cakes and Ale play Loughton Folk Club on Thursday September 12.
Entrance is £3 and it starts at 8pm at the Loughton Club building in Station Road.
Previously advertised performer Jessica Lamb has had to cancel.
