A man was stabbed in Loughton High Road on Sunday morning
A man remains in hospital after being stabbed at the weekend.
In the early hours of Sunday morning police and paramedics went to Loughton High Road following reports that a man had been attacked.
The man, whose age is currently unknown, was knifed close to NU Bar whilst on a night out with friends.
On social networking site, Twitter, the man’s friends described the drama that unfolded as ‘shocking’.
One man tweeted that he would “never go out in Loughton again” following the incident.
Three men were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
A 20-year-old from Chigwell, a 21-year-old from Ilford and a 19-year-old from Waltham Abbey were released on police bail until October 4.
The ambulance service has been contacted for an update on the man’s condition.
