Bid to expand block of flats in Bentley Way, Woodford Green, rejected
Proposals by a developer to add an extra floor to a three storey block of flats have been rejected.
Applicant Tony Hadley wanted planning permission for the expansion of Hepworth House in Bentley Way, Woodford Green, in order to construct two new one-bedroom flats.
But councillors at a Regional Planning Committee West meeting last night turned down the proposals by voting two to one against - with the others absent or abstaining.
Cllr Richard Hoskins said: "I think it's an over-development and I can't vote for it".
