Five gang members have been jailed for stabbing a man to death in Ilford.
Thomas Cudjoe, 29, was stabbed ten times, punched and kicked as he sat in a car parked on a garage forecourt in Ley Street in the early hours of November 3, 2012.
Five men were convicted of his murder in July but were all given life sentences yesterday at the Old Bailey.
Asher Johnson, 25, of Bellamy Close, in the Docklands, was sentenced to a minimum of 16-and-a-half years, Courtney Mitchell, 23, of Clandon Road, Ilford, was ordered to serve a minimum of 18 years, and Jerome Green, 23, of Ashgrove Road, Ilford, was sentenced to a minimum of 25 years.
Lewis Johnson, 22, of Bellamy Close in the Docklands, was sentenced to a minimum of 16-and-a-half years, and Reece Garwood, 21, of Overton Road, Romford was sentenced to a minimum of 17 years.
