The Office for National Statistics published figures this week showing Redbridge men enjoy a long period of good health
Redbridge men are likely to enjoy more good health than their counterparts in the rest of east London.
Figures released by the Office of National Statistics this week show the borough’s men rank seventh in London for healthy life expectancy.
They can expect to live 65 and a half years in good or very good health, which is higher than neighbouring boroughs.
In Tower Hamlets the rate falls to 56 years.
However, the healthy life expectancy for women in Redbridge is only 62 and a half years, which ranks the borough 20th in the table of 32 London boroughs.
