Owner given last chance to save dog's life
A dog will be put down if its owners do not comply with a court order to keep it muzzled.
Elizabeth Garstin, 29 was found guilty of being in charge of a dog which was dangerously out of control in Epping Forest at Harlow Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
She was fined £650 and told that the dog will be destroyed if it is not muzzled in the future.
The judge said Jake the Border Collie would only allowed to be without a muzzle if he was taking part in a game such a Frisbee or swimming.
Garstin of Woodberry Way, Chingford, was convicted over an incident in Lippitts Hill, Loughton, on February 7.
