Buckhurst Hill Parish Council will celebrate its move into the Queens Road library today
A new library and council headquarters which it is claimed will save taxpayers’ £35,000 a year is set to be officially opened today.
Buckhurst Hill Parish Council has moved from its Queens Road base to a building in the same street, which also houses a refurbished library.
This is set to save the authority the cost of rents and utilities.
The library will open five days a week, rather than three as before.
The official opening will take place at midday.
