Three people in Epping Forest were contacted by a man claiming to be from Apple on Sunday
Police have issued a warning after homes in Epping Forest were targeted by a phone scam over the weekend.
Two people in Chigwell, and another in Buckhurst Hill, raised the alarm after a man phoned them claiming to be from Apple.
Each time he advised them to call their bank, but is believed to have remained on the line to listen in on the call in an attempt to hear confidential details.
The scam comes just months after scores of vulnerable adults in the district were called by men claiming to be police officers in an attempt to access their bank details.
Police are urging anyone else who has been called to report it on 101.
