Gurbax Athwel, 43, of Leyton, twice groped a woman on a Central Line train in March
The sentencing of a man who groped a woman on a Tube train has been postponed for a second time.
Gurbax Athwel, 43, of Villiers Close in Leyton, was convicted of sexual assault on August 16 for twice rubbing a woman’s outer thigh while on a Central Line train on March 24.
He was due to be sentenced on Friday at the City of London Magistrates’ Court but was remanded on conditional bail until October 18.
The hearing was pushed back so a pre-sentence report and a mental health report can be prepared.
His sentencing was originally scheduled for September 6.
Athwel is banned from using the Underground unless going to court or meeting lawyers and probation staff.
