An accountancy firm raised £1,500 for a children's charity with a fund-raising golf tournament.
Raffingers Stuart, which is based in Southend Road, Woodford Green, collected the cash in aid of Hopes and Dreams, which aims to grant the wishes of terminally ill youngsters with experiences and days out.
More than 40 golfers in ten teams took part in the contest at Abridge Golf Club in Essex.
Raffingers Stuart partner Lee Manning said: “This was the fourth time that we have held the charity golf day at Abridge and as always it was great fun.
“Our team really enjoyed organising the day’s events and we’re thrilled to have raised a total of £1500 for Hopes and Dreams.
"Our firm’s committed to supporting this incredible charity and have already confirmed a date for the 2014 golf day. We really look forward to doing it all over again next year.”
The event, on Wednesday September 11, concluded with a gala dinner and raffle in the evening.
