Sixty-one-year-old Kathleen Morris from Waltham Abbey has been missing since Monday
The husband of a missing woman has issued a plea for help to the public.
Kathleen Morris, a mother-of-three, has not been seen since she left her home in Waltham Abbey on Monday.
Police and Mrs Morris’ family are increasingly concerned for her welfare.
Robert Morris, 60, says that he desperately wants people to look out for his wife of 38 years.
He said: “We miss her so, so much.
“This is totally out of character for her.
“The last time I saw her she was wearing a black, chunky knitted jumper.
"She had black slacks and had a large black bag, the type that goes over your shoulder.”
Mr and Mrs Morris lived in Honey Lane for 32 years although moved to Margaret Close just over two years ago.
Mrs Morris is described as white, approximately 5ft 6ins tall, is of medium build and has dark hair.
Mr Morris and his family say that they have no idea where she could have gone to, although she has friends in the district.
He added: “She used to frequent Epping Forest quite a lot, she used to meet a friend there. She’s not really a group person. She’s quite a private person.
“It’s really important that people keep an eye out for her. We just want her home.”
A police spokesman said that they are concerned about Mrs Morris’ state of mind and believe that she ‘may not realise’ that her family care about her.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kathleen Morris is urged to contact Essex Police on 999.
