Charity 'ghost walk' through forest
A team of ghost hunters will explore what is said to be one of the most haunted spots in the UK for charity.
Children’s hospice Haven House, in High Road, Woodford Green is asking for volunteers for ‘Fright Hike’.
The 30km, night walk through Epping Forest will take in Hangman’s Hill, where convicts were hung and the ghost of Dick Turpin is said to roam.
Registration for the October 26 walk is £39 per person and participants are asked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £160.
Starting from Bury Road car park in North Chingford at 4.30pm, the walk should take around six hours.
