Police discovered a large-scale cannabis farm in the cellar of a pub.
The Joker, in Cameron Road, Seven Kings, now faces an uncertain future after 250 plants were found by officers while executing a drugs warrant.
The pub’s licence has since been revoked by Redbridge Council.
Officers made the discovery on Wednesday morning when a cellar door was found hidden behind a book case in the cellar.
At 8.40am officers raided the property and found, in the secret room, an elaborate lighting and irrigation system.
A 58-year-old man was arrested and has now been bailed until December 16.
A charge of supply and production of the class B drug can lead to to 14 years in prison, an unlimited fine or both.
