Public meeting to discuss education
The state of Waltham Forest’s schools will be discussed at a public meeting tonight.
Campaign group Our Community, Our Schools is hosting the event, which will feature a range of topics including free schools and teachers.
Speakers include writer and Guardian columnist Zoe Williams, the General Secretary of the National Union of Teachers, Christine Blower, and Councillor Clare Coghill, cabinet member for children and young people.
Doors open at 7pm at the Vestry House Museum meeting room.
