Loughton Baptist Church has been refused permission to build a house on its grounds
A church has lodged a formal appeal after being refused permission to build a house on its grounds.
Loughton Baptist Church recently exhumed 25 graves to make way for an extension which will house a new playgroup.
However, Epping Forest District Council refused the church permission to erect a detached house on the site.
Loughton Town Council Planning and Licensing Committee will discuss the appeal on October 14.
