Aneel Tyrell failed to attend court this week after being accused of assaulting a police officer in Loughton
An arrest warrant has been issued for a man charged with assaulting a police officer.
Thirty-year-old Aneel Tyrell, from Loughton, is accused of running off from a taxi without paying, attacking a police officer and resisting arrest on September 20.
Tyrell, of Algers Close, failed to turn up for court yesterday to answer the three charges.
A warrant without bail has been issued.
Essex Police have refused to release a photograph of Mr Tyrell.
