The best friend of a woman who was stabbed to death has paid an emotional tribute to "a beautiful person".

Niki Divine, 32, who knew Junella Valentine for over a decade, has described her death as a tragic loss.

Miss Valentine was found dead in her home in Harveyfields, Waltham Abbey, on Monday morning in a suspected murder suicide.

Kevin Ayton, 35, who has been described as having an on-off relationship with Miss Valentine, was found hanged in Grundy Park, Cheshunt, earlier the same day.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.

Miss Divine, of Watery Lane in Cheshunt, is now looking after Miss Valentine’s Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Remy.

She said: “She bought the dog off a man because she thought it wasn’t being looked after very well. Just went up and asked to buy his dog.

“She so loving. She could get on with anyone and she would always be there for you even if you called her at three o’clock in the morning.

“She was like a four leaf clover, hard to find but lucky to have. She was kind, loving and generous and a beautiful person.

“I still text her phone. I used to call her 15 or 20 times a day. It’s such a big loss.”

Miss Divine recalled fond memories of Miss Valentine cooking her a birthday meal and buying her three-year-old daughter Christmas presents.

She said: “She was so generous,  she would give her last penny to someone if she knew they needed it more.”

The porn actress added: “All I have to say about Kevin is may he rest in peace and I offer my condolences to his family.”

Funeral arrangements are yet to be confirmed for the 34-year-old but Miss Divine expects a big crowd, including celebrities and members of the music industry such rapper Jermaine Scott Sinclair also known as Wretch 32.
