Epping meat thief walks free
A woman who stole meat worth over £700 has walked free from court.
Lynda Hope, 41, of Birchview in Epping, was guilty of four thefts of meat products over a two week period in August from Marks and Spencer in High Street, Epping.
Hope was handed a four month sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to attend a drug rehabilitation program for six months, as well as regular meetings with a probation officer for the next year.
In addition Hope is to pay Marks and Spencers £533 in compensation.
