Waitrose in Buckhurst Hill will help people to plan and pay for Christmas dinners for people who would otherwise be lonely
A supermarket is offering money, food and resources to support people at Christmas.
Waitrose in Buckhurst Hill has launched an initiative to help shoppers who are cooking a festive lunch for members of their community.
To encourage residents to help people who would otherwise go without, the retailer is offering to help with the cost and organising of the dinner.
Until November 15 people are asked to contact Waitrose to see what help they can get.
Application forms are available at the front desk of the Queens Road shop.
