A man who assulted a woman has been jailed.
Bryan Bawden, 30, of Woodman Path, Ilford, was senetnced to six weeks at Chelmsford Magistrates Court yesterday after being found guilty of the attack in Buckhurst Hill on September 6.
Bawden was also convicted of causing £400 of criminal damage to a garden fence and table.
He was issued with a two-year restraining order preventing him from contacting the victim of the assault.
