Wreath-laying took place this morning in honour of servicemen and women who fought in conflicts throughout history and modern day.
A two minute silence and wreath-laying ceremony took place at Memorial Park, on Chingford Mount Road with another wreath laying service in St. Edmunds Church in Larkswood Road in Chingford shortly after.
The Chingford Royal British Legion then held a veteran’s lunch in Hall Lane, also in Chingford.
