Nando's announces restaurant for Walthamstow development
Nando’s chicken restaurant has been announced as the first major chain for Walthamstow’s The Scene at Cleveland Place development.
The chicken shop, which specialises in dishes from Portugal, will open alongside a nine-screen, 1,200-seat Empire cinema.
The development on the corner of Hoe Street and Walthamstow High Street also comprises 121 homes.
More retailers are expected to be announced in the coming months.
The Scene is due to open in winter 2014.
