A security firm has applied to convert a former cinema into its new headquarters.
Total Security Services (TSS) hopes to refurbish The Regal building in Hale End Road, Highams Park, and demolish the adjacent former Shelz restaurant to erect a four-storey office space.
Plans submitted by Ricky Gardezi of Highams Park-based TSS propose alterations to The Regal to create access between both buildings, while using the former cinema’s existing frontage as the main entrance.
Part of the ground floor of the former cinema will be used as a snooker hall under the proposal, while upper floors will be used as office space.
A date is yet to be set for a decision on the application.
