The victim of a racist attack claims police have still not collected CCTV evidence of the incident.
Berry Sohal, 42, was one of seven people targeted by a gang of men who shouted racist abuse before launching the attack outside the Slug and Lettuce in George Lane, South Woodford, at 2am on Saturday.
The victims included student Samrath Singh, 24, who was on his first night out in England during a visit to see family.
Miss Sohal has since lodged a complaint to The Metropolitan Police about the way they have handled the case.
She said no officers visited the Whipps Cross Hospital where her partner, son and cousin were being treated, as is normal procedure.
And now Miss Sohal claims police are yet to collect potentially vital CCTV footage captured at the scene.
She said: “I am totally bewildered and disgusted with the attitude of the Met.
“We discovered yesterday none of the CCTV footage has been confiscated from either of the two premises the attackers came from.
“Neither my partner who, was unconscious for half an hour, or my cousin who was seriously hurt, have been approached by any officer either at home or by phone.”
Tammy Collins, 42, who was injured during the attack said: "The police told me they asked the pubs to burn the footage onto a disc on Wednesday but they still haven't gone to collect it."
No arrests have been made.
The Guardian is awaiting comment from Met Police regarding handling of Mrs Berry’s complaint and the investigation.
