An HIV testing clinic is set to open in a church, amid concerns about infection rates in Waltham Forest.
The ActionPlus Foundation will oversee the service at the Living Flames Baptist Church in Walthamstow.
Testing will commence from 11am on Sunday and is free.
Representatives from HIV and Aids charity Positive East will also be on hand to offer support and advice at the Fulbourne Road church.
The number of people living with HIV in Waltham Forest is said to be significantly higher than most London boroughs, while research suggests members of some Christian congregations are not getting tested due to a stigma about the virus.
New HIV figures will be published by Public Health England this week.
