Police have renewed an appeal for help to trace a murderer who absconded from a mental health unit.
Lerone Michael Boye, 27, was sentenced to 28 years in prison for the murder of 17 year-old Kelvin Chibueze in Ilford in August 2011.
Boye, absconded from the John Howard Centre in Homerton on October 16, and has not been seen since.
Boye is described as black, 5ft 10 ins and of a slim build.
He has a distinctive horseshoe shape scar on his right cheek and a gold tooth in his upper row of teeth.
Detectives said there is intelligence to suggest Boye may still be in east London and he has links to Barking, Newham and Ilford.
Boye was last seen wearing a grey/blue sweatshirt with a grey vest over the top, and grey jogging bottoms.
He had short hair and a goatee beard.
The public are advised not to approach Boye and dial 999.
