Two parks in Waltham Forest have been recognised as among the best in the country.
Lloyds Park in Walthamstow and Abbotts Park in Leyton have been awarded the prestigious Green Flag status by Keep Britain Tidy campaigners.
The Green Flag is awarded to parks that are well-maintained, well-managed with excellent facilities, and offer high-quality green spaces for residents to enjoy.
In recent years, the quality of both parks has significantly improved following huge investment from the Council, the Lottery Fund, and sporting associations.
Other parks awarded the Green Flag status are Ridgeway Park in Chingford, Langthorne Park in Leyton, and the Coronation Gardens in Leytonstone.
