A Walthamstow primary school is holding an all-day book fair to educate children about the importance of literacy.
As part of Literacy Week, Mission Grove Primary School in Buxton Road is holding the event for pupils and parents.
Children will be given the chance to buy a range of books.
After school on Wednesday, teaching staff will be running a literacy workshop for parents, to give them an insight into how their children are taught and to suggest ways of reinforcing the learning at home.
