Since arriving on ITVs I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here more than a week ago, Joey Essex has shocked, surprised and undoubtedly amused millions of viewers.
Last night was no different.
After yet another determined performance in a bushtucker trial, the 23-year-old told cameras that he chose campmate Alfonso Ribero to help him as he “knew that he’d be the most thinkable”.
The former West Hatch High pupil admitted that he did not know what a possum was, or the meaning of a punchline.
He said: “I thought I was going to have to punch something.”
Mr Essex also revealed on the show that he used to work at Billingsgate Fish Market in London.
“I was as shop boy. I always stunk like fish,” he said
