A bus driver is said to be “improving” in hospital following a collision with a school bus last week.
The 35-year-old man, from Harlow, whose vehicle hit a bus carrying children from the Anglo-European School in Ingatestone, is initially believed to have suffered ‘life changing’ injuries in the accident on the B181 on November 21.
After the incident, which left a teenager trapped on a bus, the driver was flown to Addensbrooke hospital in a critical condition.
Today, police have confirmed that he will be questioned over the incident.
She said: “The bus driver is improving but he remains in hospital.
“Police investigations are continuing and this will include speaking to the driver when he is well enough to be interviewed.”
