Waltham Forest Women's Network (WFWN) are hosting an event at a school tomorrow.
The Girls Against Violence event at Walthamstow School for Girls is part of an international campaign.
A number or organisations will be present at the event and there will be information stalls about gender-based violence.
The main event will include performances and speeches from WFWN members and a presentation by pupils at the school.
Jean Lambert, a Green Party politician and MEP for London, will be attending the event.
The number of domestic violence incidents across of Waltham Forest has risen by nearly 15 per cent in the last 12 months.
The event is taking place on Friday at 5:30pm at Walthamstow School for Girls in Church Hill, Walthamstow.
