A man who was caught carrying a metal poll as a weapon in public will be sentenced at crown court.
Ashley David, 21, of Boxted Close in Buckhurst Hill, was yesterday found guilty at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court of possessing the offensive weapon in Temple Mead, Roydon, with no lawful reason.
Mr David, who was also found to have obstructed a police officer on the same day, will be sentenced at Chelmsford Crown Court on December 23.
