Have you asked for their complaints procedure, it should contain all the information you need to make a complaint and take it further. I also have the same problem. I put my complaint to the Head when that failed I went for the chair of governors. Document everything is the best advice I can give you, the dates of when you went to the school, keep a record of emails sent. You are also entitled to asked for your child's records. Don't give up. Waltham forest also have 'Parent partnership' They can help with dialogue between yourself and the school, they deal mainly with SEN but could probably point you in the right direction. Wish you all the best I know how draining it can be.

I have done all that is required but still no response it is so frustrating as the school willowbrook has failed my child and many others in health and safety and academically they are now bottom on performance in all of Waltham forest and they only came off special measures big leadership failure I have contacted by email the chair of governors and no response no surprise really as a governer at said school repeated personel information outside the school as I said big leadership failure but thank you for your help

Maybe the school are tied up answering letters as to why certain children are not achieving when the fact is that some kids will always fail through no fault of the school. It can be very difficult for parents to accept as they 'need answers' regarding everything relating to their offspring these days and need to apportion 'blame' for something that cannot be clearly identified.

Prior to the 70's underachieving kids were just labeled 'thick'. Whilst this would never be accepted in this day and age, various 'disorders, ailments and conditions are proposed as 'conditions' affecting children and unless a parent can find a pigeon hole to put their child in they blame everyone and anyone and at times maybe should even consider their own conduct relating to their parenting.

@Billy Yerache. I think the results at said school speak volumes about the management. They have obviously adopted the same attitude as your good self. It is wrong to condemn a child before they have reached double digits. If a child in this borough were to attend any school in the surrounding area they would do better (as I said the results speak for themselves).

Results are the output of students who are more often than not distracted by the latest mobile phone, xbox, X factors, other rubbish TV programmes, the negative influence of their peer group and negativity unassociated with the school and the hard pressed teachers who are expected to tailor a curriculum for each individual child by over bearing parents, some of which, drop their kids at the school gates by car, empty their vehicle of litter, smoke and swear in the playground, expecting the teachers to become surrogate additional parents because of their own failings.

And your comments are indicative of a parent who cannot accept that some children, whatever education they are offered, will never get into Oxford or Cambridge, will never be lawyers or Doctors and their parents should set their sights lower. Some kids just have not got what is needed and disrupt the class at the same time. It is wrong that some kids are held back waiting for the slackers to catch up with them.

This is why the jobs market is having to be serviced through Immigration especially Eastern Europe, where young people are prepared to accept any work to earn a living and do well in life through hard work.

The anonymity of the internet gives you such a big ego. I have no reason to justify myself to you or my parenting style. THE END[/p][/quote]And your comments are indicative of a parent who cannot accept that some children, whatever education they are offered, will never get into Oxford or Cambridge, will never be lawyers or Doctors and their parents should set their sights lower. Instead of your diatribe, had you read what I said, you will note that I am actually valuing the imput that immigrants have contributed to the country.

Maybe you went to a failing school, I will give you the benefit of doubt.

Good old Cornbeefur - nice bit of trolling there! I bet you can't believe your luck! Any you didn't have to resort to bringing up the green toothed lefties on the Orford Road or the children dressed as darleks!

Please, please bring Rubbernecker, Fresh Gravee, Walthamstow Wabbit, Mr Khalid and all your other glove puppets out of retirement. I miss them so much!!!!

Waltham Wabbit only posts out when Cornbeefur doesn't understand what others are saying, then he answers his own post as Billy Yerache.

He has a condition but hasn't accepted it yet. Sympathy is due.

You are not an expert on the English language, especially grammar, and are precisely an example of a person who cannot be helped. Was you failed at school or was you just back classed repeatedly?

I have nothing to do with either of the posters you refer to unlike your alias of Hickey.

There you go again with your obsessional references to children.

You are contradicting yourself again and you are more of a troll than anyone you accuse of being so.

Poor old cornbillfilth Did I upset you? Funny how your discussion on the subject always seems to wain!
Some people have something to say..
but you always have to say something. Why instead of trolling a large number of people's comments, don't you use your time, which you obviously have a lot of (perhaps out of work or living on your own ) to help others. Instead you moan and criticise everyone. Merry Christmas and a happier new year ....bah humbug .. I'm sure you won't resist another insulting comment....the greatest thing you could ever learn....is just to love and be loved in return.

Your comments are irrelevant and devoid of any substance, actually, a bit like Arsenal's trophy cabinet.

While I agree with this lady - despite endless disappointment in our under-achieving council - I'd argue that if you're an activist in the Socialist Teachers Association and the Cuba Solidarity Campaign it's not a bad idea to state where you're coming from at the outset.
